2007 & 2008 Z-71 door handles

Greetings All,

I have the mechanical basically sorted on my 2012 and am now moving on to the cosmetics. One thing I really liked about my '08 Z-71 was the exterior door handles, which had body colored edges/mount points and a silver handle. I recall that handle being satin and matching the wheels and front bumper insert more so than the shiny, chrome ones I am finding now. I did find part numbers (see below), but all cross-references and lookups say 'chrome'. For those of you who have an '07 or '08 Z-71 (only two years with the silver handles and mirror caps on the Z-71 model) and still have your OEM handles, are they chrome or more of a flat, satin silver color?

Also...in the linked videos below, is it just me, or are the LTZ handles much more shiny/chromy?

@bcbickers It depends on which year, the molding changes on the 2010 models. My 08 z71 handles have silver center parts and matt/satin black outer parts.

Notice the side molding and handles on my 08 Z71, the molding has no dimples with silver and black handles, and silver accent side mirrors:

I never noticed the moulding differences. Good eye!

Thanks for the info about your door handles being silver. That's what I recall from my '08 as well. Hopefully, I have the correct part numbers. We'll see in a week or two when they come in. Thanks!!
