Gen three is the easy one
I had that decently kinda sorted out back in 2011. Sadly, all that info in my brain has been replaced with more useless shit. Its pretty close, just rich at idle I believe and it has some surging I'd like to smooth out. The texas giant (248/252 IIRC) cam isn't going to make those things easy....oh and when the a/c is on, it doesn't like to idle at red lights. Start surging really bad then dies. I used to have natural reaction when slowing down. Reach over, cut the a/c off. Turn it back on when I took off...lol.

I won't clog up your thread with all that nonsense

The dude that tuned my car did it in like 45 minutes on his lunch break. I didn't have hpt at the time so I just paid him. Thats with no wide band....

I know it needs help. Probably some power to be had. I'll bug you and Daddy R about it one day

i just ordered a wb for ctsv, i was trying to find a gauge that would display it and ethanol % in one, since i need to mix to around e50 :(

i had been doing about 50% 93 and 50%e85 and it would end up around e45-e50 or so....but this last time
i was down under a 1/4 tank with it sitting about E47...so i put in 8gal of e85, hung up the nozzle and switched to top off with 93..and it only took like 3 gallons of 93 lol its prob not too bad but 65% or so i imagine. the in tank pump pressure drops i left friend borrow the hptuners module to look at some stuff on his tune, but i need to see what % its actually at, i can prob just use torque app but i havent been driving it - i need to run a few gallons out of it and top of with 93 again

https://www.plxdevices.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=897346002719 is what ive used for a while, havent used one of the gauges before but it was only a couple bux more as the combo. may try and hide it in glovebox or behind screen or something, but i hate the way all gauges look for the most part

dont know about the bung, prob not. i think im going to pull one of the post cat sensors and just disable to code for that side in the tune. or these have a narrow band output so i could replace one of the pre cat ones with it and wire the signal wire back into the ecm. which i could prob do pretty easy since i have a few old o2s i can cut the plug off of and make a harness so i dont have to tap into the factory wiring

That's awesome. I've said it over and over. I don't want another hole in my exhaust since it won't be permanently mounted in any of my vehicles. I'm like you, hate the extra gauge. No clean place to put it. Would like to have one for tuning and then take it off the vehicle

yep...this whole thing can be hidden behind the dash somewhere and theres a bluetooth dongle that plugs into the controller (red box) that you can bring up the afr on phone app, the little plug in looking mic jack and 4 pin connector. i already have it from the one i bought for my truck:

if you want the bluetooth thingy id buy it as a package (diff link). tbh the gauge looks pretty cheesy lol. i would prob pass on it if you have another way to display it - also make sure your hptuners can take the input from it

That link is currently unavailable. If you have the first link, I'll grab that one and ask you all the details on the install...:flowers2:

Does it have the capability to use bt? I'd rather not have to rely on my phone all the time, but occasionally, it'd be nice since I won't permanently mount the gauge anywhere. Probably just lay it in the console

I have og hpt pro interface. I'm pretty sure it has the things to hook into it for wb. I'd have to dig it out and double check

Edit: pics (sorry for the highjack Dan)

yep thats where you would tie in the 0-5v signal from the wb on the hptuners

click on whatever link, at the top click "wideband" and then directly under that will show "wideband afr smartphone link"

the wideband with out the bt link is 176$
the wideband with the bt link is 188$
if you buy the bt link seperately is 90$ bux lol thats why im saying buy it as the combo

the first link i posted, you can add the bt link but would need to buy seperately 209+90

Not to break up this little gang bgang but I did some more logs, did a good 20-100 pull then had to go 100-0 very quickly, and was very very thankful for the brake upgrades, it stays extremely composed, and stopped exactly how you would want. On this run I cam door to door with a newer CC f150 about the time I clicked into third. The truck looked stock I think it was an eco boost of some sort but I couldn't tell you anything more than he matted it about the time I went into third and we stayed fairly even nose to nose till 100/7k which kinda surprised me I'm guessing it was a 2.7 because I think a 3.5 would have walked me pretty well. Anyway, light turned red and we didn't have long to shut it down and couldn't get a dig run then because a truck pulled into my lane.

We lined up at the next light and I had one of the best launches I think I've ever had leaving at about 1,800 in 1st and had minimal to no bog and zero wheel spin. I short shifted first at 6k and grabbed second at 3.5k which is about perfect because it feels as though it's well into the power band and just takes off as it should. Ran second up to about 6k and realized I was racing myself like a fool so I let out and putted it home.

It felt really good to push this thing harder than I have in a while I need to stop being a ***** and run each gear to 6,800. The suspension really impresses me it doesn't nod back and forth on gear changes and it doesn't feel floaty at all at speeds. Feels like it needs boost tho its slow.

I really really want to go to the drag strip and get some sort of performance measurement on this thing. I know it's not fast but I want to know exactly how slow it is so I can guesstimate the power number better.
