Looks great! And damn, you’ve been busy! Good job on keeping her on the road and well maintained.
I had trouble with my digital HVAC controls sticking. Eventually, it broke the plastic inside the knob. I was able to strengthen them with a snap ring in a strategic location, just around the plastic that protrudes into the rheostat -where the real problem lies. I used electrical contact cleaner, spinning them back and forth manually many times, and it world work for a while, and then stick again.
Another member here had the idea of attaching the rheostat into his drill, tightening it down, and spinning back and forth to clean out the corrosion causing them to stick. I had already purchased a replacement Ebay control, so figured why not? And it’s worked like a charm! Contact cleaner, and high speed forward and reverse with the drill.. it’s been working perfectly since, for probably around 2 years. I’ll try to find pics of my repair as well.

Nice I'll definitely try that thanks. Did the cleaner a few times it worked for a short while. Using a drill now that's clever
