2003 GMC Yukon SLT 5.3 caliper bolts stuck

The caliper bolts are are stuck and I believe they are T55 head.
I have changed the pads before w no problem.
When i search for caliper bolts only hex head bolts come up.
Has there been a change of the type of bolt use and if so which part is it.

You're talking about the caliper BRACKET bolts, correct?

there are 2 of them Rock Auto shows on replacement calipers that they have both tork and hex head bolts, Not sure what to order. No listing for the torx bolts.
They might be called slide bolts? I am afraid I am going to heat them up w a torch to get them off and would like to have replacements on hand.

you can use either one, torx ones are more likely to end up getting striped. Any auto parts store will carry them

Which calipers are you looking at on RA? I don't recall Torx T55s being used on the caliper slide bolts; only on the bracket bolts. Seems like overkill; I may be wrong.

Thank for the reply's appears that it is a change and the hex head ones are the ones i will be getting. Thanks again
