Yeah he just came down, saw we were taking photos and parked on the other side to go chat with the sheriff boat. Never even said hi or waved at us. ‍And thanks I wasn’t on here yet posting to enter in it!

Nothing super new lately just impatiently waiting for my retrofit stuff to get here. Took a couple hour trip to central Oregon this last weekend to visit some family and friends. Got 17.55 mpg on the trip which I haven’t seen since it was bone stock. Pretty stoked on that. Realized that my nnbs brake upgrade is gonna have to happen sooner than I thought my front rotors are warped like crazy and pads are getting low. Might be able to tackle that this weekend though

There are apc “led look” corner lights. Google them and they should pop up. I think @05Single and myself got them on eBay

I believe I found them, they have amber reflectors though. I'm guessing you removed yours?

middle of page 13 I have pictures of them. I took the amber reflector out and swapped the clear lenses from my other lights

Pulled the window washer fluid bottle out today. Tires from both setups have rubbed holes in it. Probably gonna relocate with a new bottle of some sort by the coolant reservoir. For now it’s just nice not rubbing it while turning full lock right. My battery hold down bolt managed to get rusted to the welded nut on the battery tray and snap it off. Next trip to the wrecking yard I’ll get a new one.

Friday my retrofit source order came in. Had a couple of early Christmas party things this weekend and had a tooth pulled Friday morning so haven’t done a lot unfortunately. My passenger housing is just slightly shallower than the driver side as some of you may already know. These are Depot clear lights I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do a bunch of cutting but we shall see. I test fitted it some and saw it was gonna hit the lenses but after stabbing myself with a flathead screwdriver I called it a night. One of those times I didn’t listen to my inner self reminding me to not pry toward my hand

But still got pics of everything. Lots of goodies
Morimoto mini h1 7.0 projectors
Mini Gatling gun shrouds
Hd harness
Profile prism rgb demon eyes with XBT Bluetooth controller
Morimoto xb ballast/5500k bulbs
And other miscellaneous install stuff

Alright well spent most of the day working on this retrofit situation. It is my first one so been a learning curve. I didn’t take as many pics as I wanted to because it was taking me longer than I thought and I was getting a little frustrated at times.
Got the harnesses and xbt controller mounted. Really didn’t have as much room as I thought I was going to Hahahaha. The xbt controller will be moved from on top of the battery once I do my front battery delete but for now Velcro did the job I managed to keep everything tucked away for the most part it’s just hard trying to stuff everything behind the headlight.

Tomorrow I will have to get more pictures. I got the driver side done for the most part....I hope. I Was able to pull the projector high beam wires through the grommet that came with the profile prisms. Drilled a hole next to the threaded shaft and got the grommet in there nice and tight so hopefully no leaks!

Trimmed out the back of the mounting bracket for a little better bulb clearance.

I also used retro rubber around the motoholders and that grommet. Had to trim off the lip where the 9006 used to sit but that was about it. The shrouds I did little trimming and got them to fit nice and tight so the projector has more support and hopefully won’t move.

so it’s raining outside and I’m not about to take a open headlight housing into that to get a better wall farther away. The cutoff isn’t looking like it’s supposed to and I’m hoping that maybe it’s because of how close I am to the garage door. But we will find out I guess I’m hoping the lens etching didn’t distort it that bad. Now that I did the easy side tomorrow will be the passenger side and hoping not too much harder.

Alright about that passenger Side headlight. Good lord did it fight me for two solid days. Ended up having to cut the back bulb hole bigger to get enough space to clear the lens. Cut off the back of one of my old corner lights I had and CA glued it to the back of the headlight.

Used the h4 mounting plate to create a new threaded shaft hole. Got it all lined up and glued on

Drilled the hole for my demon eyes/high beams test fitted and turned it on for the 10th time and it was done!
At least I thought ugh

As I baked the housing and got lens back on I realized the shroud and front of the projector lens were ever so slightly touching the housing lens. ​

I didn’t get a picture of it last night because I was pissed at that point. After work today I calmed down and cut the h4 adapter plate off, repositioned everything with the lens still glued on and I think it should be good now! Was able to get the projector away from the lens just enough. Now have to wait till later tonight so I can find a place to fully aim them correctly. They look killer though I’m super happy
