I was changing my 2001 suburban fuel pressure regulator (non flex fuel) and the smaller o ring dropped into the fuel rail. I can see it with a flash light but have tried picks ,needle nose etc. and cant get out.

Is it safe to leave it in there to drive it to the mechanic or do you have any tips to get it out of there tried a shop vac and slightly moved it but no success.
Thank you in advance.

^^^^^x2^^^^^ An 18-22 gauge solid copper wire stripped (doorbell wire, but must be solid and not stranded) and bent into a hook may be your best bet.
