I got a small stumble if I get on the peddle from a stop no head jerking any more even if I hit
The passing gear last night tried to get it dark as possible under the hood got some dancing
Lights in the wires these are the $100.00 Msd wires I've tried the lower cost wires same thing happened.
What's causing this and the wires are neat in holders and in wire loom next to metal plugs was gapped to specs but the motor idles smooth also.

sound like the spark is finding a more least resistant path then the plug. which ones do you use and what is the gap? Did you squeeze the msd into the stock wire holders? Where Are they dancing to?

Well msd 8.5 are bigger and should not be put into the stock wires holder you should get a better solution. Not sure that maybe it stressed out your wiring or a real bad engine ground if that is possible. I never really hear of all the wiring doing that just an occasional bad one that would short to something or shock someone. Please try to identify the spark plugs used please.

UP DATE;;;; today i took the delco plugs out to check the gaps 5 of them was not at .035
more like 40-.45 i know i gapped them when i put them in new some had little deposits on
them so i did the seafoam drove it still had a little stumble BUT it was coming from the back

got back home and found that the factory u joints had play in them put new ones on.
i will recheck the plugs later this week but it seems to be running alot better plus i need to see if wires are still having a light show. Someone said to get platnium plugs because

they have less resistance true r false ? one more thing doing the seafoam i seen
all the leaks in the exhaust that needs fix.:wtf:

:laughing1: wished you videoed those leaks. Stick with plain copper core for your engine. Autolite #25 or Delco #CR43TS. no platinum's, no ngk's and certainly no E3 crap.

I use platinum xp605 from Autolite becuase the engine was built with them. 1996+ all use plated plugs now. I have a complete msd system on there now. I have to run platinum's for sure. I can run copper cores but my msd will eat them to .075+ gap in less the 13 months. Even then they still fire. Platinum will slow down the wear rate a bit for me. Msd advises to stick with what the engine setup was built with even with there high power products.

sunlit how do those xp605s compare to the AC delco Iridium plugs ( think the part # is 41-993) ? i run the full MSD set up as well and its time for some new plugs

The autolite might have a more finer center electrode then other brands Has nickle plated body and terminal and ribbed insulator for less flash over issues. I had a few of those when the engine was washed down and when I started it to dry it with the delco plugs. I would not expect any of them to last the whole 100,000 mile with a much stronger ignition. I say at least inspect them every 30,000 miles to see how they are burning.

Im curious about which plug to use because the systems tell me that platinum is original equipment but the previous owner put in iridiums which are well used.
