The autolite might have a more finer center electrode then other brands Has nickle plated body and terminal and ribbed insulator for less flash over issues. I had a few of those when the engine was washed down and when I started it to dry it with the delco plugs. I would not expect any of them to last the whole 100,000 mile with a much stronger ignition. I say at least inspect them every 30,000 miles to see how they are burning.

next warm day i will check the plugs again even though it seems to have head jerking throttle again. i think the the motor is doing good for 254.000 miles

Im curious about which plug to use because the systems tell me that platinum is original equipment but the previous owner put in iridiums which are well used.

they will perform fairly equally. it more like a design change with newer materials.
