'10 Tahoe

Here are a few pics of my Tahoe. Was bored today, so I went out to an empty parking lot at a local museum and took a few. Hoping to update soon with new pics of it leveled with some new headlights. That'll be dependent upon money, since my wife and I are expecting twins.

What camera you run?

These were taken with a Canon T3i and a 100mm f/2.8 L macro lens (because it is much more crisp than any other lens I have). I'll try and get some with the 5D Mk II in the next week or two.

Plastidipped my front bowtie tonight to get an idea of how it would look painted. I think I'm going to dip everything that isn't black to see how it looks, and if I like it, paint/replace everything and go for a completely blacked out vehicle. If I like it, I'll get my wheels powdercoated matte black as well.

Had to work 3rd the past few nights, so I've run in to an insane amount of bugs. I do plan on washing/clay bar/waxing this weekend.

Leveled tonight... got a deal on a rough country 2" level kit...

What kind of mod is worth doing if there's no blood involved?

And now she's sitting level...

All 4 fenders measure 37.75" from ground to the highest point.

What products you use?

Turtle wax premium grade polishing compound (about $9), and meguiars black wax ($12 for a tube that barely did the whole vehicle). Oh, and an old orbital that i found in my dads shop. wobbles like crazy, but worked out pretty well.

I didn't realize how much higher my tahoe sat than a stock tahoe.. didn't seem to make as big of a difference when I did the level kit, but it's pretty obvious when they're side by side. At a birthday party for one of my sons friends, I parked next to a stock LTZ... I was amazed at the height difference, which looks like more than 2".
