Hey Jacob ...... is it the picture?

Because the puddle lamp leds look slightly less bright to me..... then the filament bulbs Imo

It's the picture. The "before" pic was taken in total darkness and the "after" pic was not. The reason for this was one of my LEDs that I bought for that didn't work so I had to order a new one and that after pic was taken after I got that new bulb in and it wasn't completely dark.

In real life....... are they much more brighter?

They are a tad brighter but the color is so much more white and pure it makes a HUGE difference. I read Felix's post a couple days ago about being blinding in his 08 hoe but these aren't blinding at all!! They are perfect.

The billet bowtie on the front started corroding so I needed to do something about it

If you look close here you can see the biggest corrosion spot below the chrome plating

3 coats of primer, 5 coats of color and 3 coats of clear

Jacob, you may be able to have the stock head lights sanded and recleared, that is what I am doing with the jeep.

I imagine it would be like smoking the tails........ except using smoke paint.

Use a clear with hardner in it like Spraymazx 2000

He paints so he uses regular clear and honestly I have no idea about sand paper cause I do not paint.
