'07 Yukon XL Denali Exhaust Resonator

On my '07 Yukon XL Denali the tip of the exhaust resonator has rusted off the end of the resonator.

I would like to replace the pipe from the muffler back in stainless. I have searched the internet and am not coming up with anything.

I think the best way to do this is to cut the pipe coming out of the muffler and put the new pipe in place but would need to be expanded to go over the muffler pipe.

Any one know of a place that sells the pipe/resonator that I need?

Your local muffler shop can handle this. If you want to DIY they can expand your new pipe for you. If you want OEM @915_Tahoe can get you the part number and a source. He’ll need part of your VIN.

Is this an OEM muffler? Denali & Esky are supposed to have full stainless cat back systems.

Are you meaning because of where your's has started to rust or because of the difference in size? My dad used that kit on his 13 Denali with the bigger 3.5" exhaust and just had a muffler shop weld it on. Works great.

I measured my pipe and it is 3.5" outside diameter, so inside would likely be three and three eights inches.

Yeah it's because of the different size. My dad found out the hard way it's a smaller pipe in the kit, but the muffler shop fit it up just fine for like $25 I think. I don't remember finding a kit for the 3.5" trucks because SLP doesn't offer their's anymore. But the 5.3 kit will work with some welding.
