Have a 2005 Yukon Denali XL. The right catalytic converter is loose inside and it sounds awful. I tried to remove that section to replace, but it’s just too rusty and the bolts and nuts are cemented in place. So I was thinking of cutting it out and straight piping it. What’s the best way to do this? The driver side is fine but should I do both or is one on? This one has two separate pipes one for each bank going into the muffler vs the older ones that had a crossover pipe and were two into one.
