Yea output will suck with switchbacks. Just add some hidden lights under the bumper.
And I think I recall seeing white red (they have blue/white, green/white, pink/white now, exc.)...which is better than amber.

Mine , the bottom are parking light/brake, and the top are also parking light and turn. So they stay lit and only get brighter with turn.
I need to make videos and start a youtube channel.

I stole it from another guy off a different forum that I saw years ago(forgot who and where tho :-/). It cracks me up and It's stuck with me ever since.
Of course I don't think that's all we do it for, but there's still some truth to it. I'm not afraid to admit it as its one of my main passions and most certainly my first love. But that's what non car/truck people think of it as and will never understand. Just such a sarcastic saying, and I love it.

Still like the quote.

Neighbors always asking why I rub the paint so much and what am I always doing. Refer to relies above. Lol

Nice zombie thread, however this is right up your LED alley. I want to see it fire and icing the back of your truck.

You have a hell of a build thread. I wish I would have started one while I was doing mine. I think I may use some of your interior lighting and other small ideas for my own.

Thanks man, you got a clean ride as well , definitely enough mods for a build.
As far back as I could remember I was always drawn to bright and pretty lights lol. One of the easiest and ,best of all, cheapest mods for any build car or truck. And one can get so creative that there's literally a million ways to use lights on a vehicle.
I think besides an Led guage/ac panel/switches upgrade I'm done with interior lighting.
I'm just happy I can share some ideas with the good folks on here.

Candied the orange, nothing new. But what is new is I switched the 3156 plug for a 3157 plug so now I have top and bottom as constant on parking lights and still have turn signal up top and brake on bottom.

So you have to change the whole plug and not just the bulb?

Yes, the plug is a 3156 which is just 2 wires-negative and positive.
I changed to a 3157 plug which has 3 wires-negative and two positives.

The extra wire is brought down to the bottom light and wires into the running light wire

You will have to shave a small amount of the plug tabs, I recommend not shaving the actual housing , that's what most do....but I figure plugs are cheaper than lights lol.
Anyway it's the same method as the front drl delete mod

How is the plastidip holding up? With the cold, salt and that crap? Ive never used it and am curious. I know prep is about 90% of finish but i still feel like it'll flake off. I just went thru some of your thread, looks good...

I don't want to cut in but..... My plastidip is holding up pretty good on my wheels and outer door mouldings. This is the first winter my wheels being dipped, no problem with it, and this is my third year with my mouldings being dipped. Everything has held up very well.

Gone through 2 winters and holding strong. No less than 6 coats. Let dry for 24hrs before driving. All I did for prep was a thorough wash with hot water and dish soap. I did my cousins silverado including exhaust tips and his is still holding up great after his 1st winter.

Exhaust tip too? I didn't know it could take heat like that.
