So...If it records activity around the vehicle, can I use a thumb drive in the console and store that activity ? Would the thumb drive need to be formatted before using ? It would act like a dashcam .....

Yes dash cam and also records when alarm activates.

I have a 2026 HC. Mine doesn't display. Is this active only when towing? Or is there some hidden activation needed? Thanks.
