Hated having the switch for my underglow down at the bottom of the dash and decided to make a switch in place of the rear wiper button.
Used a face plate from a Silverado with and cut out a hole for a simple aftermarket switch. Used the same insides of our switch but gutted out the wiper button to make room for the different switch. I over cut the hole slightly you can see in the pics but it's not too bad and I can love with it. Later I'll grab another face plate and play with it more .View attachment 185085 View attachment 185086 View attachment 185087 View attachment 185088 View attachment 185089

It's always dark here now.Are these current pics, like as of right now, is it dark already?
I guess subconsciously when we lose daylight here i try and take advantage of the long darkness and make it a little more fun lolHaven't you guys noticed the pattern? Alaska gets dark and his lighting mods start getting active. Which BTW look really cool.
Even for a blue Tahoe...![]()

I like big tips and I cannot lieHoly Huge tip Batman!!!!

Had to redeem myself for not one but two paint mishaps over the past couple weeks. Decided to paint my GM accessories smoked window vent visors which i dearly miss after near record summer of days where it did nothing but rain
Was looking at in-channel visors for a a smoother look but I already had these and they're a quality product and i love the way ptm visors look. In-channel visors don't look as good painted imo
Taped off the back side and only painted the outside. I didn't feel like it was necessary and wanted to see how it looked and if I could see through it out of curiosity.
Wet sanded with 600 grit (i know a little harsh but its fine) 3 coats of Duplicolor perfect match indigo blue metallic and 2 coats of duplicolor perfect match clear coat. Same procedure as my escalade rack caps that I painted. Less than $20 to paint all four isn't bad.
I let these guys sit for a few days and cure before I wet sand with 2000 and then polish. Then stick em back on.
Success!View attachment 185244 View attachment 185245 View attachment 185246 View attachment 185247 View attachment 185248
