About 2yrs ago i picked up a Regency Model with 98,*** miles it was Love at first sight. No issues at all.

It has TVs in the headrest, sunroof, BOSE audio speakers, 20" Foose wheels, KEC Dvd Player with 4 Headphone pairs, and just bought it new Falken Tires 3mos ago. Switched to Mobil1 motor oil, replaced the stock air box with a cone air filter (Spectre) for now lol & new spark plugs (NGK Iridiums)
Also just cleaned up the headlights with all the yellowing crap

Recently i been wanting to replace the stock 6cd changer with a Kenwood or Pioneer Double Din and link it to my TVs & BOSE speakers, i wanna be able to play movies & my mp3s thru an external hard drive. No CDs or DVDs discs for me those are relics of the past. I dont want a crazy $600-800 unit either because i already got GPS/Navigation on my phone. I also want to install a rear view camera and mount in just above the hitch. I got a quote of $300 for Labor Only today @ this place called CustomSounds, they solder and heatshrink their connections but i think i can tackle this myself. Thinking whether if i want to retain my steering controls also. Anyone done something similar??

Welcome. Good looking Tahoe. I'm sure some of the audio guys will chime in here soon.

Really nice truck. I've never heard of a Regency Tahoe. Are the Foose wheels stock? Got a better pic of the front end? Is the rear stock looking?

Interesting. Never heard of or seen a Regency tahoe before. Definitely a unique looking tahoe!

If you look thoroughly on ebay for gauge clusters, you will find the faceplates.... It's an aftermarket build with vanity upgrades. I don't think it has any performance stuff.

Yeah. I figured as much. But he said the gauge cluster is like an esky platinum cluster. Which is what I want haha.

I've heard of them- Regency bought new Tahoes and added a bunch of modifications to create semi-custom trucks. Exterior, interior, wheels, and I believe minor engine mods like CAI's, etc. They were pretty spendy for their day.

I read they were north of Fort Worth off I35 but they closed in 2009 I believe. I also read they left a lot of people hanging as far as warranties, etc. since anything they touched voided GM's warranty. I guess they sold extended warranties on their conversion stuff but once they were gone so was the warranty.
Edit: I also found a company that sells most of the old Regency parts still, along with some other conversion company's stuff. Kind of interesting looking around.

Yea I had visited that website before but they got very few stuff for Tahoe
The engine & tranny are pretty much stock, i added a CAI and later gonna add a cam & exhaust system. Thinking of putting also a Regency Decal on the front windshield. The rims are 20" but wanna go 22"s on that

I don't know if I would buy anything from a website that doesn't even list prices but instead wants you to call them for pricing. Looks like they think their NOS is priceless, which I guess it is if you have a Regency and they have the only Regency stuff still available. When you call they probably try to find out how desperate you are and price accordingly.

That would make sense as why I have seen so many. And also why most of them are 2000-06 style. Only seen a few 07+ style
