I bought my 03 Tahoe stock. First thing I noticed was a little play in the steering wheel. I figured after some mod upgrades it would fix.
Mods: all new front suspension, pitman arm, idler arm. Etc.
Still play in steering wheel about the same. Any thoughts/suggestions?

that would be the steering box wearing out. had the same issue, just a little play even after all new front end parts, tie rods, idler and pitman arms. <<<they were all worn, but so was the box. it also had a small leak, just wet looking, nothing hitting the ground.

When I refreshed my front end, I opted for the Red Head Steering box, along with adding the Mustang flow reducer on the power steering pump. No play and the steering is tight!!!

What does the flow reducer do, in regards to steering feel?
