Finally rotating back to this project.

But had multiple water leaks, pulled the headliner to verify and to go ahead and weld the roof rack holes along with the useless antennas

Also Installed the new door lights, I'll get the 3rd brake light after I get the roof in primer

And the manual trans makes a huge mpg difference, I haven't been filling it up since i got it back but the miles I've been driving hasn't seemed to be adding up with what little the fuel hand has moved.

So I had a trip to take today that was almost 100 miles so filled up and set off.

Now some yall may not believe this but I have a video of trip miles and gas pump.

Anyways 91.6 miles divided by 3.9 gallons
23.48 mpg

Don't think gm ever did a dark headliner, but I gotta make all the pieces match my new headliner

I really hate the color gm used, completely disassembled the DVD player and the front console, next I'll get all the rear vents disassembled and cleaned, prepped for paint

Just slightly over 2 yrs ago when I said I'd make a video lol. well I finally did but nothing fancy just going through the gears.

Did you make a custom shifter for this? Assuming that’s not the long ass one that most trucks have?

I remember seeing on this forum a few years ago some one made like a metal tower looking thing with a bunch of pivoting links that essentially turned the tall shifter into a short throw shifter at a comfortable height.

That's all custom, I ended up not using none of the factory shifter.

It acts like a short throw

Finally had time to get the headliner back in. I also decided to 2 tone the trim like the door panels and my thought turned out good imo.

Found the dark trim for the A,B,C, and D pillars also got the kick panels and door sill plates from a suburban at the pull a part.

I started with the panel under the rear windows and used SEM trim paint for a good match, but I painted the top to blend it in between the C and D pillar.

I'll let the pics talk now

*edit* nevermind the front seats I'm having the covers redone in the 2 tone also
