02 Yukon motor tilting down at firewall

I saw a thread posted by moosemoon about his engine tilting down at firewall. I have a 02 Yukon and have been scared to death to drive it bc it's doing the same and I know it wasn't like that bc I can't even get to the rear spark plug on the left side but changed them B4 no problem. So what was the outcome? Mounts ? I couldn't find any results on that post.

Not sure what thread you are referring to, but you can add a hyperlink of it. Just copy and paste...

The engines are not level; the front side sits a bit higher than the rear. Have you inspected your engine mounts? It should be obvious if the rubber is missing.

I would add inspection of the transmission mount as well. There's a good inch or two of material that may have disintegrated over time.

Yea, you can have a broken motor mount and it will still sit at the same level. If is low in the rear, at both sides, sounds like transmission mount or crossmember problem. If is just one engine mount, it will be lower at rear and be leaning to one side.

Any strange noises when accel, decel, left turn or right turn? Power braking?

I asked here and asked my mechanic - answers were the same - that it is normal. Had motor mounts looked at, too. Seems all is well. However, my guy had to do some truck lift gymnastics to get the exhaust pipe off the frame. Don’t know why it was on the frame or if the two are related but for now I have other things to stress about with the Blukon
