Being that I have an 01 with useless onstar I'm curious if there's anyway to adapt the existing onstar antenna as a cb antenna? I'm not familiar with it at all so figured I'd see if anybody knows

Its been a while since my Signals class in college....but the required length of the antenna is related to the frequency of the signal. Onstar is cellular frequency 850Mhz-2100Mhz, CBs are about 27Mhz. So Cellular can get by on a tiny antenna, but CB needs something larger.
So I would say no, it wont work. If it did you may get poor receptiion.
