XM Antenna not working

My 2015 Tahoe Lt shark fin GPS antenna failed as is common so I replaced it about a year ago which fixed the GPS, however at the time I no longer had XM radio so I didn’t test this. I have now renewed XM and discovered it has an antenna problem. Is the shark fin also the XM antenna or does it have a separate antenna that I’ve not found? If so where is it located? If it uses the shark fin does anyone know the correct part number so I can replace my existing one?

Should be the same Shark Fin antenna. There are two cables with the antenna, and one is for XM I do believe.
I am getting mine replaced as I am getting XM reception may be blocked.
The new design moves the slit in the gasket from the back to the front of the Shark Fin. This should prevent water from getting in and causing corrosion.
Hopefully this is all that is needed.

Got an update from dealer. XM was working so they washed the Tahoe and sure enough XM had issues again. Water in the antenna.
Part is ordered. Will let you know part number when I pickup the car.
Newer Shark fins have 3 connections. 2015 only has 2 and only comes in the matte black, no color options.

Part number is 23258394 for the antenna. This fixed my 2015 Tahoe issue

Thanks for the reply, however the first replacement I purchased mentioned above came with two cables and when I installed it I found that my 2015 only has one cable. I connected the matching one and the GPS worked, not having XM at the time I didn't check that. Now that I have XM and radio is telling me no antenna is why I'm searching for the correct antenna and questioning weather or not my 2015 even uses the shark fin for XM or is there another antenna located elsewhere.

Thanks for the reply, I was aware of the water issue which is why I had to replace the first shark fin. When I installed the replacement I sealed both inside and outside as recommended to avoid this in the future.
