Also looking for a black mid-hatch trim piece.

These are the last 2 pieces I need to complete a high country blackout.

Man that seems like it would be a nightmare….there are sooooooo many little nooks and crannies. Is it even possible getting it wrapped?

They probably will not wrap it if it's too complicated. I had a shop look at wrapping the grill on my SLT and they said no way. Too many tight spots and even if they got it done it would not hold up long term. They said they would paint it but I opted to just buy a black oem grill from GM as it has body colored surround trim. OP could get the grill painted by a body shop

I don't really know...honestly, I don't even know what the HC grille looks like. I just needed a larger vehicle.
I guess I can be the first who tries to wrap it!!! I may try doing it myself first, then take it to a shop after I fail.

Things on my mind
1) What to do with the chrome wheels? Order new? Remove the plastic chrome inserts? Center caps?
2) How to blacken all or some of the exterior chrome. Again, was going to wrap the trim.
3) How to keep the suspension in the lowest ride height at all times.

Dealer updated me that it was built last week. Fingers crossed.

I’m ordering black aftermarket rims. I really like some of the Lacani’s.

I’m using vinyl for most of the trim. There are a ton of blackout kits out there for this.

Planning on using a new, black RST grill.

Negative, gave up looking for a bit. But I’ve seen a bunch of Tahoes from the factory lately that have the black trim package (can tell by the window surround trim) that has black grills that may work.

I know its a gamble but going to try a RST Grille…(Black Ice Chrome). I will advise when on ptoperty and installed. Next steps will be the liftgate appliqué and switching that TAHOE lettering to black. Should be warm enough for that soon and will also remove the dealer chrome badging while I am at it. Mirror Caps are also on the project list. This allows me the blacked out look without having to compromise my principles of not having a totally black vehicle.

There are three shade of dark colors for the 21-23 Tahoe. Firts one is a automatic dealbreaker……..Black. My first choice is the Midnight Blue, second is Dark Ash….or as I like to call it…not quite black….Think Kingsford Charcoal briquet before cooking.
