I was in the process of running wires for my EMS Emergency Lighting and now my interior lights are not turning on either with the switch or when the doors open.
I have checked the 10 amp interior fuse and replaced the relay under the driver's side console.
Is there anything else to check...
So I bought a 2006 Yukon XL Denali sight unseen. I did a pretty good job of talking to the dealer and requesting photos, vin checks etc... I even spoke with the mechanic who checks over the vehicles before selling. Main reason I bought it was the mileage, price and most important, no rust! I...
Has anyone replaced the CDs changer in a 2006 Yukon Denali after installing a new double din? Wondering if there are any options for storage. I might even consider modding it for a ham radio.
Anyone got any pics of mods you have done?

So I just took my newly purchased 2006 Yukon XL Denali (129,000 miles) for its first couple hundred miles trip. I honestly felt uneasy driving it as the speeds increased. I had to hold onto the steering wheel with both hands. It felt like I was being pushed left and right for no reason. Hard...
I bought some 6.5 speakers from crutchfield. They came with a bracket for install.
How would you install this speaker? Should I use the bracket and if so, where should I put the screws?

Help installing an aftermarket radio in a 2000 Suburban.
I bought a JVC Bluetooth CD player off of Crutchfield. I bought the adapter so I didn't have to solder any wires.
When I unhooked my factory radio there were 2 wire sets attached to the back. See picture.
I hooked up to the main...
I have been looking at some rust free options for this year Yukon Denali. I found 1 for sale that has 156,000 miles. What are your thoughts? How long will these engines last if maintained properly?
I drive about 5 to 10,000 miles per year so I am not against buying a higher mileage rust free...
So I have been looking at a 2006 Yukon XL Denali with 99,000 miles. Lots of the updates I am looking for have been completed to include new tires. Everything is great but some rust under the back door. No rust anywhere else. I would like to clean it up and see what happens but everywhere I go...
Last week while on a fill trip, I hit a patch of ice and rolled my 2010 Yukon XL Denali. I am pretty sure this vehicle saved our lives along with some help from above.
Question
My Suburban feels wobbily at times. Not sure how to explain it. Wobbily when turning corners. Is that a sign I...
This is my burb. The outside is great. Underneath needs some TLC but for a Michigan truck it's not bad.
My plans
Replace brake lines, fuel lines.
Replace fuel filter.
I would imagine the ABS controller
Water Pump which is sitting on the passenger seat ready to go.
Full detail inside

My seat is stuck. The only thing I can get the lever to do is flip down the top part of the seat. I cannot flip the seat forward. I'm guessing a cable issue. My auto seat buttons on the Piller also are not working.
Looking for tips to get this seat to pop up.

My 2010 Yukon XL Denali has developed a leak at 125,000 miles. It appears to only leak when the engine is running but I could be mistaken.
My oil pressure guage has been fluctuating as well, usually below the first line. It bottomed at 0 on a trip. Shut the engine off and an hour later...
I have been getting the service suspension warning but only have a longer trip. Last time the message came on was during a couple hundred mile trip. Around town the warning does not come on.
Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
Thanks,
Steve

I had a recent coolant leak which is now fixed. I had to replace coolant. I notice that at times my heat is not very hot. I read somewhere about getting an air bubble in the system after losing coolant.
Is there a way to test this theory of mine? Is there a fix to remove an air bubble if...
I have a 2010 Denali. I noticed coolant leaking from the T Connection that attaches to the heater hose. I replaced it and the coolant leak stopped however, I have a new one. After putting the new connector on it started leaking from the heater core connection.
Could I have a faulty connector...
There is a small rust line starting above the back bumper on the left side. Is that section of the bumper easy to undo and drop down so that I can remove the rust?
Love my Denali I bought but I was wondering if there are any other options for the middle console where the cup holders are? The fancy of it kinda takes away the usefulness. Just wondering if it can be replaced with any other type of insert that allows more openness? Does that make sense?
My wife wants me to upgrade my current 2000 Suburban that has 227,000 miles. I recently have been talking with a guy from Wisconsin who has a 2010 GMC Yukon XL Denali 4X4 for sale. It has the 6.2L engine. Has all the bells and whistles It has 108K Miles. I have not gone and seen it yet...
Hi, I am an EMT and I need to find a place in the cab of my 2000 Suburban mount my siren and emergency light switch box. I am thinking the area where the tape deck is could be modded for this purpose. Has anyone redone their tape deck area and what materials did you use so that it kept it's look...
Hi, yesterday I had my first oil change at the GM dealership and I asked them to take a look underneath and let me know what they find.
2000 Chevy Suburban LT around 185,000 miles.
I know there will be issues to address. What are your thoughts on the following?
1. 2 manifold bolts broken...
Does anyone know how to fix an emergency brake that has seized? I was doing some work inside the cab on my 2000 burb and I pressed the emergency brake down and now I believe it has seized up. Right rear hub cap gets super hot and I can smell the brakes.
Trying to avoid a shop fee if I...
I am happy to say that I bought my first Suburban. I love it so far. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and I have been looking for a replacement for my 04 Explorer.
2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT. About 180,000 miles. New tires, alternator, battery and front wheel bearings.
Nice...
The digital odometer display on a 2000 model has gone blank. I have read it is due to poor soldering of the steppers.
Until fixed, can a dealership determine the mileage by hooking it up to a computer?
Thanks
