My heated steering wheel blew the fuse. I can't find the fuse. Chat GTP is completely wrong. Nothing is labeled for heated steering wheel. I know the wheel is bad, but I need to replace the fuse so my new wheel heats up.
RA shipped me someone else's return. Box opened, other parts stuffed in the box. Not what I ordered.
Now they want to charge me for the return shipping !!!!
No one to speak with.
total trashy company.
I have replaced the rear autoride shocks & compressor, so many times, I lost count. The rode salt just eats up everything, including the air boots.
What shocks and resistors do you use, so the front struts still work as designed?
Factory 22's. 275 Bridgestone's. They are terrible in the snow. 4" of snow, I'm calling the AAA for pull out. Not wanting a full AT tire. I like highway quiet. Highway cush cush ride.
I just need s crossover tire. What's out there ?
Fram has this newish oil filter. I have been using it with good results.
FRAM Synthetic Endurance™
FE10060 Engine Oil Filter
It is the short version. But I'm sure they have a longer version as well.
For those who care, here is the TSB for the rear defroster tab problem.
Bulletin Number: 03-08-48-006J
No where in the TSB does it mention "testing the entire electrical system"
No where in the TSB does it even mention picking up a DVM.
It does mention soldering back on the tab with Radio...
Is there a way to permanently fixing the rear glass defroster tabs ? safelite replaced the glass 5 times, and threw me out. They refuse to honor their own warranty.
I know this is been beaten to death. What is the link to the catch can install & parts list. 2013 Suburban. It should have the updated valve cover, I think. But I am burning oil.
My 2013 LTZ factory wheels are 20". 275/55/20
I have a set of 2023 22" wheels with Size: 275/50R22 tires. 1" bigger in diameter. Can I put these on my 2013? with the 2023 sensors ?
Will 1" bigger make a difference on my 2013 ?
GM just went with 0w-40 in their motors that are spinning bearings. Makes you go hmmmmmm.
Newish Escalades, and other newish motors that are blowing up. Big recall.
I'm doing a science experiment. My truck has stuck oil rings, like the TSB says. Burns a qt every 500 miles.
I'm trying Valvoline Restore & Protect without the top engine cleaner job. Just letting the oil do its thing.
3000 miles on the V R&P, still burns oil like crazy.
time will...
I just replaced the HID lamp in my 2011 escalade. I am not happy with how the bulb is secured to the head light housing. Seems very flaky, like it could bounce out.
I have the black ring around the new bulb, but it does NOT snap in, or click into the housing.
Am I missing something?
https://www.dormanproducts.com/gsearch.aspx?year=2013&make=Chevrolet&model=Suburban%25201500&origin=YMM&q=Dash%20Panel
I just ordered the rear panel. $100... I'll try it out.
Anyone try black chalking for the dash crack problem?
I have 3 of these trucks, and they all cracked. Rattling around.
I'm thinking black exterior window chalk.
200,000 miles, I'm not spending $1000 on a dash..
2014 figured this wasn't a problem. But apparently I have stuck oil rings. Every week, qt of oil. Blows smoke out the exhaust at 4000 RPM's.
How difficult is the top end cleaner job on the passenger side, 2 rear plugs. The others look easy.
120,000 miles...
I have perfectly good autoride rear shocks. OEM. Tahoe, Burb, Escalade, ect
I thought it was bad shocks, turned out to be the compressor.
$100 + shipping, and you know what these cost...
Sometimes, I can't get an accurate oil level reading. Either it's all the way up the dip stick, 1/2 way up the dip stick. I wipe it off, and same problem.
and I know I had 6 qts in there perfectly a month ago when I changed the oil.
2013 Burb 120,000 miles.
