At 125K miles the struts gave up on my 2018 Yukon Denali. Replaced rear shocks as well. Pretty easy to replace all 4. Now it rides so much better. Still rolling on the original brakes with plenty of pad left.

I have 16.25" front rotors with 6 piston Brembos forcthe front & 4 piston Brembos for the rear juat waiting for me to install.

I went with aftermarket mag ride struts that have a lifetime warranty and way cheaper. Time will tell if this was the right choice.

I've had my 2018 for 2 years and recently hit 170k. I did my front struts a week ago and couldn't believe how much better it rides by comparison. Feels like a new truck! Until the alt died a week later and I was reminded that it is not a new truck.

What brand did you go with? I’m due for rears. I did the fronts about 2 years ago. Didn’t notice a difference really.

I dunno about the OP... but the folks that I bought my shocks from said they were Arnott, but they actually say Luft Meister. They made me feel like my old shocks have been bad since I bought the truck two years ago.

I have a 300+ miles on the new shocks & struts and working like they should. Got them on Ebay and paid $240 for all 4.

My original struts felt like they were locked and 1 was way shorter than the other. Bounced like crazy so the smooth ride is a welcome fix. At the price I felt it was worth the risk.

At 140K miles my front struts locked up SOLID on my 2016 Denali XL. Replaced both front struts and rear air shocks with passive Arnott’s (to remove the auto ride) and could not believe the improved ride! I swear it now rides better than it ever did since I bought it brand new! Now at 177K and rides like it’s on a cloud!

Highly recommend the Arnotts!

I might be mistaken, but I thought I read somewhere in the group that GM was now offering lifetime warranty on the magride shocks.

Been 25,000 miles since replacing the struts & shocks on my 2018 Yukon Denali with the cheap Ebay "lifetime warranty" mag-ride struts & shocks. So far all is good. For the price I paid if they fail now I still consider it a win.

When they do fail I will buy replacements then see how that lifetime warranty actually works but not leaving my Yukon down for that.
