Well folks, that's the end of the 24's era for now. I'm trading a guy for some minty Denali 22's. The fat spokes with the bolt-in inserts. I'm going to drop to a 275 or 285/40-22 and see how she rides

I was running 285/40/22 on my 4/6 drop on the Burb with essentially zero rubbing. I did do the "Norcal" front fender mod and massage the plastic liners out back. I also kept the auto leveling rear. Mine are 22x9 or 9.5 I can't remember, also can't remember the offset but they are Heavy Hitters brand.

After switching to 305/40 I lifted the truck up 2" all around because the rubbing was awful.

I’m currently on a 24x10 +25 with 305/35/24 which is 32.4” of tire. I rub like crazy on highway dips.

A 40-series 22” tire is a 30.7” (275) or 31” (285) so I’m picking up a LOT of clearance. Not to mention the width clearance from dropping to a 9” wheel with a higher offset.

How was the ride on a 40-series?

I could throw some 35x12.50x24 on the wheels I already have and it would look aight.

Although, what I REALLY want to do with a lift is some Arkon Lincoln's in a 22x12 with a 33" tire.

IDK. I'm tired of dicking with everything that comes with being low on a wide wheel.

Whats your wheel/tire specs, by the way? I've been meaning to ask you for MONTHS. I'm on a 24x10 +25 with a 305/35 and the fronts rub like CRAZY over bumps. The rears are perfect.
