Codes thrown are P0521 P0523, I've already replaced the oil pressure sensor (you can see it right around :40), boy was that a task.
I have not done the DOD delete, makes the noise with belt removed. I'm wondering if this is a lifter.
What do your ears tell you?

No, it sounds way to gnarly and fast paced. Did you remove the belt for the A/C as well?
I did not, but I paid attention while the clutch engaged and there was no noticable change.
Another thing I've noticed is that there is a definite exhaust leak. I figured it might be a loose pipe connection or header. Would an exhaust leak cause rough idle?

Jeebus.

How does it idle and drive? Make any odd sound when starting? Does the sound change when in gear and engine under load? How does the oil look- any glitter?

could be starter, could be material in the catalytic converter broke loose
you need a stethoscope they are like $10-15 auto parts store/harbor freight,
check from under it.

Idles rough when the noise engaged, otherwise idles smooth. Nothing noticable while driving or changing gear that I know of. Once the noise started we pretty much parked it. Oil and oil pressure looks fine.

I used a stethoscope, couldn't really find anything unusual, but I didn't probe the starter or catalytic converter. I think I'm going to take it by the muffler shop next.

Grab a small flat blade screwdriver, a bright flashlight and a rubber mallet and slide underneath it. Use your rubber mallet to knock on the catalytic converters to listen for the guts rattling. Failing that, pop off the inspection cover (round stainless cap with three notches, about 2" diameter) on the bell housing and closely inspect the flex plate for worn starter teeth, loose bolts and/or cracks. Look around the torque converter bolts and around the crankshaft bolts, up near the center.

Listen to each of the converters and this will at least tell you which side is more noisy if it is internal to the motor

Doesn't sound like valve train. Maybe ac compressor, or torque converter, or flywheel bolts loose, or timing chain/gears/tensioner issue.
