The reason you couldn't tell which way to go is because on some of them its both! I had to get a panel tool and wedge it into one side then pry slightly on the other side. It's a pain, but if you take your time you can do it. I don't remember which side I wedged the panel tool into, but if I remember correctly it's easy to see which side it should go on.

Haha, it's not as bad as it sounds...just go easy on it. I did notice that you have a Yukon, I'm assuming it's the same connection as the Tahoe/Suburban grille, but I don't know for sure.

Installed color matched hood molding/ trim over the weekend. Was thinking of doing whole grille, but after seeing other members photos, it just didn't look right. I think the chrome trim in the grille brings out the insert more. So went with just the hood molding instead.

Curious if anyone spots the flaw.

I wouldn't worry about it. It still looks good. The normal person wouldn't be able to notice it.

Looks good. Only the TYF would OCD something so little. Soccer mom will never notice.

I installed the mesh behind the grill and at the bottom of the bumper. I didnt like the inserts because of the 1" chrome border so i installed them behind the bumper.

I like the main grill install, looks clean. The bottom looks good, but it seems inserts like the Silverado SS would be more apropos, but still good job!
