Makes sense to me. I got mine lightly tinted as well because the bright red clashed with my maroon. Mine's not nearly as dark as yours but I was after more of a light smoke with mine. dark smoke does look good on black, though! :)

This is my first black vehicle and I want it be tasteful and clean. Black is such a classy color, I just an this truck to scream class! lol

Im thinking ill just do 15% tint on all the side windows 5% rear and 15% front strip, that way there is some difference if I get pulled over, but it is darker than my last vehicle. Black trucks with dark tint=:licklips::licklips:

UPDATE!!!!

So this has been a busy week for the Denali. I ordered my rear weather tech, front emblem overlay, had tint taken care of and picked up some tires.

I got a black emblem overlay on Amazon for $12, my weather tech for $85. I picked up 2 Pirelli scorpion ATR 275/55/20 tires and have 3 in the garage to swap in for these nasty, worn out LS2's.

Also the escalade third brake light showed up and so did the DVD remotes and headphones. Threw some batteries in the remote and she worked great. We got 10 inches of snow last night so the roof is covered, so the sky third will have to wait! busy week!

Here's some crappy pics of the tint. 15% all sides, 5% strip and 5% rear window....pleanty dark lol

Picked up 2 Pirelli Scorpion ATR 275/55/20 today from craigslist. My dad had 3 sitting in the garage and said I could just have them. He had too much damage to repair in one so thats how I ended up with 3. I picked the other 2 up on CL and they are indexical tread wear, so I just need to get them mounted and balanced, and she's got way better tread!

I have Goodyear LS-2's now and they are absolutely garbage and pretty much done for. Looks like no one rotated them. So I got 5 tires for $50, spent $10 in gas and $7 in coffee (took the GF) and then free mounting and balancing, for a set of tires that should last 1-2 years. That saved me some serious dough!

Well made some progress this week. Got my Pirelli's mounted, and a new TPMS sensor installed. They ride nice. A lot more responsive, but still smooth. Feels a touch stiffer.

I did figure out where all my washer fluid was disappearing to. The dealer put a new air ride compressor on it, and never hooked up the rear wiper line. So that explained where all my fluid was going and why my rear wiper wasn't getting any. I also threw on a new rear wiper, works great. to the rear armrest tightened up and firm too.

By way of mods my weather tech rear liner came in and I love it. got my emblem overlay (waiting till its warm for install) and my tint done too. A couple windows didn't cure well so I'm going back today. I even spread her off yesterday!

That is a lot for tails......another reason I considering the red set up since they hiked up the prices.
