I don't think anyone has ever really said you can/can't get anything done at a hotel. Matter of fact, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that. Ever.

I think #yates did once....

However, do you think I should hit the whole thing with some flat clear? Or leave it alone.

Turned out pretty good. I'll have to clear it tomorrow.

It's way brighter in the pics, its more of a dark cherry.

And yes I need to spray off my engine bay, pollen in DC has been mad crazy

It looks closer to this:

Krylon.... LOL

Painting is all about PREP. Use a good De-greaser first.

Already removed the dual exhaust and the huge subs out of the back :bleh:

Trying to remove the black off these 10 spoke wheels, they would look almost just like my 916s if they were all chrome.

Extremely tired.... :emotions133: and I now HATE gm yellow locktite.... I know I've got some detailing to do in the fender wells but I'll save that for when I get home from my deployment. :patriot:

Little tease for now, a nap is certainly in store. I will take better pics and give more details tonight.

And my old rotors and pads still looked new.... :Bye:

It was actually really funny you mention that, my old ones didnt have that much rust on them, but when i took the right rear off i slid it under where the rear ac is. It started dripping on it and it instantly rusted within 30 mins.

These wont show any rust because the only bare metal is where the pads contact the rotors which will get rubbed off instantly when I drive it. If it sits for awhile sure it's going to rust there but it'll be gone shortly

oh yea... and thanks clkelly!!!!!

5-6 hours at a shop doing it by myself. The longest part was painting the calipers with the G2 epoxy paint kit and getting the caliper brackets off the axle. The gm yellow lock tite was mad hard and you can't get a air wrench to the back side of the rear ones. After that it was smooth sailing. I took my time and did everything right tho.
