I had a Rockford Fosgate P3 in a custom ported box powered by a MTX amp with 1500 watts RMS in my tahoe and I really liked the setup. I have the stock bose so havent messed with it yet although I plan on putting a 4 channel on my door speakers soon and possibly putting some new door speakers in down the road. I still have my box so I'd be interested in getting another 15 but would also be open to either 2 12s or 3 10s and I was just looking for some brands to look into and possible setups. Right now I'm leaning towards the sundown SA line but I'm open to anything that can handle my amp and won't break the bank.

4 12s would be sick but way more than i need or want to spend. Anyone use mmats? I've never heard of anyone using them but they look sick
Also what kind of side steps do u have Blazed? those look sick. I just got a body lift and those would look sick on there

Dude...if you got a set of mmats, you would not be disappointed. Those are some serious subs. I've seen plenty in action and they did not let down one bit. The juggernaut 12 take 1500 rms. DVC 2ohm. But they are pricey...
I know I looked at them. Hows the sound quality on them? I have a box that I love for a 15 but I wouldn't mind the switch to a 12 If I can sell my box.

If the box is built properly and tuned to the speakers.....they sound damn good. I dont recommend a bandpass for them because their cone is paper. You see a lot of mmats stuff on the competition level. Throw 2 of those puppies on a mmats 3000.1 amp and enjoy.

I know i have 2 10" MTX subs in my yukon, powered by a 500 watt kenwood amp right now, but I plan on putting maybe 2 more subs in and plan on one of them at least to be an alpine type r. and then id have to get a new amp. but i think that mtx subs, or alpine are the way to go if you ask me. I guess ive never had a RF sub like you have. so i dont know what its like.

Nothing.....they came out of my 300. Never installed them in my tahoe. Sitting In the garage still in the speaker box.
