I know the feeling, everybody wants to ask about my Limited also, and some don't believe I've had her since new and that this is the original paint.

Awww man ur so lucky that ur the original owner... I was in the 7th grade when these hit the streets so I missd out... And the paint does look damn near flawless...

Please don't take this the wrong way. But you are fool to not sell your truck for 7k. Nothing special about it...unless I missed something. 7k can buy a nicely modded OBS.

What Woman doesn't complain...mine sure as shit does. Gets more time and money then her when I am free. The house is full of boxes and she is taking it alot better then I thought. But she cracked the other day and said she misses being in it and driving it. She gets a lot of funny looks and loves hitting the train horns for kids at the bus stop. Guess that is the School teacher in her.

Hahaha yea the wives will always be jealous of the HOES... I just hope neither of them ever find out about my mistress haha...

I have been using Meguiars wax on her since new. It's time for a paint job due to the small rock chips and such, and the front bumper is rusting out, I just keep a can of black rustolem. I have new bumper from LMC just with wife sick no $$$ to get it done right. Don't want to have ass do it, by next summer she will be on beam Lord willing.

I get compliments on how clean mine is, my friends all make fun of me cause they will say "Man your truck is always so clean!" Then i say that its filthy haha, it usually is to me. But i get thumbs up from guys in newer silverados and fords all the time, it makes me feel pretty good!

I would say just $10 more on top of shipping at your cost. And yes it's metal. You may come out cheaper just buying one depending on shipping. The replacement was just $140 shipped to the door.

Here is the link where I ordered mine from LMC.
And yes those side skirts are standard on the Limited Edition, and I had the drivers side rear skirt cut to get the exhaust pipe out of it to fit the duels.

When I first got mine in 2000 I was hammer down on I-65 in Kentucky and was at 110 but saw trooper to late and clocked me at 94 while I was breaking it down and out of the 5 other cars behind me he pulled me over, but after looking over truck and saw Veteran plates he dropped ticket to over 5 less than ten miles per hour over soles limit. He said he was supposed to take me in but she did look pretty as she blew by him, lol. Saying that I haven't gotten another ticket since (2000) rather just haven't gotten caught, lol.

CHP showed me sum love again 2day.... Im not sure wat it is about the LIMITED thats making it a real beaconator... But I got pulled over again, He asked where i was going and blah blah blah... Then askd if i ever had the front windows tinted..? I said yes but got tired of the tickets... He said yea im sure it would look badass if the front was tinted... He even complimented the LED taillights, then went on about how his dad used to own a LIMITED, and he took his driving test in his dads LIMITED... Good times...

I had to resurrect this thread for todays incident... Went to the local burger joint drive thur and the guy at the window asked is this a Tahoe LIMITED..? I said y yes, yes it is... He says whats so LIMITED about it..? I says welp son how much time u got..? Then gave him the whole Tahoe LIMITED run down... 10 mins later he ended the conversation with man these are so bad ass... Days like these remind me y we're here doing wat we do...
