I just don't know now... I really like the idea of keeping the front suspension completely stock so I think i'll stick with rear 2" and see how I feel about it. If not I can always do the front in the future.

Probably the Belltech 00-10 3-4 Inch Rear Lowering Kit that can be brought up to 2"

I haven't found any other options other then that but it's the one everyone's been getting to do this. I know KMeloney did this and it looks clean so his ride height is what i'm looking for... maybe he'll chime in.

Here's the thing -- the ride is GREAT (better than stock) with these springs PROVIDED you keep the autoride from airing up the shocks too much. In other words, it's best to let the springs sit as low as possible, with the shortest autoride links in. (And you can do this with the 1" spacer in and still have the great ride that I'm talking about.) The thing is that 1) it takes some screwing around to get the links at the right ride length, and 2) the rear CAN sit a hair lower (or perfectly even, which can LOOK lower) at the lowest setting.

Now, I added the esky side steps to my truck. I think the chrome strip better defines the levelness of the steps/truck, and so they draw my attention to how level the truck is in such a way that the all-black steps don't. If you have the stock steps, then you'll not be hyper-aware of how parallel the steps are to the ground like in my set up.

Soooo... I have, sitting in a box, strut relocators for the front of the truck. I'd like to get them installed with the idea that I can drop the front of the truck just 1", and then have more room to lower the rear of the truck the full desired amount. With the front an inch lower, I can adjust the rear links shorter and 1) still have a bit of rake, the way the lines of the truck were designed, and 2) enjoy the best possible ride.

the rear belltech are actaully 2.5/3.5 on autoride trucks.

What I do is put the springs in with the 1 inch spacer and then put in the autoride links they provide and then you can adjust the links higher if needed to bring it up to 2 inches

I'm just telling the folks my experience with these springs, regardless of how they're designated for LTZ trucks.

The springs are great -- they just need to be dialed in. And when they're dialed in optimally ride-wise, some users may find them to be a touch too low. (Others will find them to be absolutely perfect.)

those coil relocators have been known to trash stock struts if lowered more the 1" FYI

For the front. What they do is replace the stock coil "perch" with ones that allow the coils to sit lower on the shock, effectively lowering the front's ride height. By adding spacers, you don't let the front sit as low as adding only one or no spacers.

So I'm reviving this old thread wondering if anyone ever found a way to simply level the rear down 2" for trucks with autoride? Basically what the McGaughys 30014 does but with autoride.

And yes like ive said and done

My rear belltech kit and you use the spacers that come with the kit and adjust the links to 3.25 inches instead of 3 inches and you will have a 2 inch drop.
