looks great but I concur on either painting or removing the fender flares. Also I prefer the truck without the side door moldings, but thats just me

I like it the way it is, except those wheels would look sweet on my truck.
Im seriously thinking about the moudlings, but the only thing is, at my work, everyone lets the car next to them stop their door from opening all the way..
well im removing these textured flares since i have some painted ones, just need to get them painted. but going to take them off to see how i like it.
and ive always admired you tahoe. i want your hood.. lol
Dont worry about it man, your not jacking anything. i got my grille and bumpers off a black z71 burban.. for freeeee.... but most i think are just painting thier grilles.

speaking of painting, anyone get thier flares and lower valance painted? How much was it, or would it be... I dont want to do it myself.

Remove those door moldings asap. IMO they look horrid. I think if you do that, you may not even change your rims. I would remove the mouldings, then the fender flares, but they could still work without the mouldings removed.

Well the mouldings are coming off, i think ive looked at enough, Yours also actually, posted on your "arse down thread" of tahoes w/o the mouldings.. The flares are at the paint shop getting painted. Seen one riding around here, w/ no mouldings and painted flares and looks good..
The rims, i like them, just want some 22's and deep dish like crazy... Love that look...
But i like your tahoe, looks like my twin... lol

Looks good! I like the bumper / signal lights. Those led from ebay? Also what is the DRL light? Led?
Yep, dont really buy from ebay, but gave these a try and have had no problems.. and yep, led amber turns, and DRL is hyperwhite led.. All led's..

First of all great looking truck.I agree remove the flares and moldings. Also remove the window rain guards and get the in channel vent shade ones. AUTO ZONE has them for 45 buck or did last year. The ones that stick on the paint are really bulky looking. The in channel ones look like they belong. As for the rims they look awesome on there. You can get aftermarket ones and switch them up every so often for a change.
Do you remember what seller it was?... there's a lot of junk on there!
i think the seller was motorblvd. But i think its spelt different now. But thats who i got them from. Awesome guy, shipped fast, got them in like 2 days.
I was wondering if anyone would say anything about the vents. lol.. yeah ive seen the in channel ones like once. Didnt know where they got them from. The auto zone and others by me, dont have them. ??? but i will probly look into them eventually, when money isnt so tight. I agree w/ the bulky look, looks like a add on. If that makes sense.
I'll be keeping the rims until something comes i cant pass up, otherwise they more than likely arent going anywhere. Would like to have the 22 ss's.

Here's the part number and link to the in channel vent shades. Mines a 04 it should be the same as a 05.

Yep selling the textured flares. All in good shape, but one has got a new scratch on it, ive noticed, but not bad, almost like someone brushed against it. And oh i will be updating pics, in my members photo thread. But i'll post one up on here also. Going to take all flares, mouldings off and snap some.
Yeah, should be exact same. Thanks for the link.. I'll look into them. Never really liked the stick on ones, but cant beat free.

I agree. Free is a good thing. They will have to order them in as it's not a stocked item in most stores. Also get them to verify the number to the truck just in case lol
