I’m having a problem that hopefully someone smarter than me can help with. I have a 2018 Tahoe PPV that was black body and white doors. I wanted to make the doors black as easily as possible. So I decided to swap the doors off one of my other Tahoe PPV’s. A 2015. Once I did this I got SRS lights on both. I scanned them and came up with circuit open codes and incorrect part codes. So I went ahead and swapped the wiring harnesses on all doors and impact sensors on the front doors. After doing all of this, some of the codes went away. I didn’t know that swapping would cause these problems. If I knew I probably would’ve taken the chance on teaching myself how to paint rather than this. But anyway. Now I’m stuck with most of the codes gone except:
2018 Tahoe:
B0088-04 Right Rear Side Impact Sensor Open
B0088-71 Right Rear Side Impact Sensor Invalid Data
B0085-71 Left Front Side Impact Sensor Invalid Data
B1 325-03 Control Module Power Circuit Low Voltage
2015 Tahoe:
B0085-05 Left Front Side Impact Sensor Invalid Data
B0086-05 Right Front Side Impact Sensor Invalid Data
I’m stumped as to what to do now. Buy another scanner? I have a CGSULIT SC530. Buy new sensors? Bring it to the dealer? Bring it to an autobody shop?
I’m a big DIY person so I’d like to figure it out. But I’m stumped now.
I never touched any of the rear sensors so I’m not sure why I’m getting codes for them.
Please any help would be appreciated.
