UGGHHH, another problem with the Tahoe.
I just replaced a bad fuel injector (#7) 2 weeks ago and replaced all my spark-plugs last week and today I go to get into the Tahoe it seems that it cranks very long before it started, but it did start fine then I went to work and all was fine.
I come home an park and smell gas, i look under car and don't see anything so I am unsure what to do.
Then a hour later I go to the store and when I go to park I smell GAS big time and look under the car and gas is spraying everywhere! it is dripping all under the fuel tank and looks like its coming from the top. I am unsure what to do and drive home (This was prolly unsafe) and park the car and its leaking again (7 gallons between the store and home) and i go under to look closer and it looks like the leak is occurring right where the fuel pump is.
Question: what do I do now? My mom can drive me to work tomorrow and rest of week if I need to go to shop. What is my problem? I figured it was fuel pump and ordered a new one tonight with overnight shipping and it will be here Wednesday.
Do I need a flat bed to get this to a shop? How much will it cost?
I got my fuel pump for $250 shipped, much less then dealer at $450ish
PLEASE HELP AND THANK YOU!
UGH, I have a trip planned to Niagara falls for next Monday to thursday with the girlfriend....might need to get cancelled now....sucks
Also my part should be here tomorrow so I am going to call shops and see what they charge as well as calling AAA about getting towed on a flatbed to a shop.
***Called the local Chevy dealer and there is no recall on my Tahoe after giving my VIN number...***

I doubt it'll be fixed by then (for some reason Stealerships seem to take forever, but it's possible if it gets there today)
If the recall isn't the issue, replace that shit yourself and have it done by Friday![]()
