2002 Tahoe Lift Gate will not unlock

I have a 2002 Tahoe and the rear lift gate door and window will not unlock and the button for rear window does not work either. I do not have working fob's for the car. It happened sporadically at first and now the driver door unlock button will not unlock it. Any help is appreciated.

Near the bottom at the center (left to right) of the inside trim panel of the lift gate door, do you see a small (~1/4 inch) dot/mark/impression in the plastic, like it was meant to be there in the original mold? If yes, take a 1/4" drill and carefully drill through that dot. Then, you can use a skinny long screwdriver in that hole to open the latch mechanism of the lift gate door.

Do i have to climb in the back and use the screwdriver everytime I need to open my back lift gate???

When you get it open is the correct time to fix it. Take the door panels off and replace the door lock actuator. Not sure that is the correct name but they do fail.
