costco interstate is a solid buy
$125 for standard and $180 for AGM. IIRC, folks here suggest against AGM (but I haven't done enough researching on that).

EDIT: I see you have had no issues with Interstate AGMs and recommend them. There are enough Costcos around and they're good with exchanges/warranties, so it's looking like my top choice at the moment.

I've had poor luck with AGM batteries in our generation of trucks, 3 failures (2 different brands) all around the 1-1.5 year mark.

Installed the Texas Speed double springs, seals, and titanium retainers. Finally a job that took LESS time than I estimated lol

NEVER EVER go to the dealer..

I'll know exactly what I need, and they are only willing to setup a service appointment..
Wasting time on the phone, but they want me to show up and waste time in person... Nevermind!

Swapped back to my 20" PPV/commercial steel wheels...
2015+ PPV rear springs with 1" spacer. Installed new rear spring isolators.

Also removed Nolathane swaybars, re-installed stock bars..
The bigger Nolathane bars work well for the highway, but around town they ride too rough for my tastes..
If anyone wants to make an offer, I don't plan on keeping them..

Truck was under warranty in 2013 when i purchased it new so yes, it went back to the dealer. I haven’t visited a dealer for service in my life, minus this and the blown out rear shock on same tahoe in 2014, and again… under warranty. I wouldn’t even trust them to change a bulb….

Replaced the leaking transmission cooler lines and did a fluid exchange (third exchange in last 70k miles). Mine were leaking at the crimps, easy visual check. The crimps that failed are located just behind the radiator. I used Valvoline Dexron VI but saw they now have a Restore and Protect ATF.

My old waterpump at 220k miles looked and felt fine. Kind of regretted replacing it with Melling.
Waterpump isn't difficult with radiator installed, so you wouldn't save much doing it now anyways.

Having issues with valvetrain geometry but I'm on the right path... learning a ton here. Especially at how to throw money at specialty tools.

The main obvious symptom is that the edge of my spring retainers are contacting my rockers. The rockers aren't the issue and the rocker stands aren't the issue (already compared my aftermarket with OEM). I have a feeling the valves are sitting up higher because of a valve job. Ordered something to measure installed spring height so that should tell me right away. I might need to offset locks if that's the case. I'll then figure out the pushrod length when this is all good.
