I’ve put about 800 miles on my BB tune mostly highway miles cruising from 72-79 mph depending on traffic. Saw my best mileage since EHA (@Marky Dissod ) last 100 miles were running about 75 mph for most of it.

Onboard mileage can be deceiving. Especially set to the last 25 miles. Manual calculations will absolutely be the only true way to determine your happiness, since it’s directly tied to your bank account. We made a trip back from the beach to OH a couple of years ago, averaging 81MPH. My mileage was 19.9 manually calculated. I was happy with a 6.2 getting those numbers.

So it could actually be higher? Hopefully the miscalculations have remained consistent pre and post AFM tuning, I usually refuel at half a tank. (now that I’ve learned that the computer is off I can see myself doing a manual calculation to see just how off the computer is) How did your onboard mileage compare to your calculated mileage on that trip?

Did I get a defective sway bar ? One side looks bent and both bushings cracked while I was torqueing them down. The one side that looks bent needed endlink 5 extra full rotations to be straight.
What gives ?!

25 miles is not an indicator to get excited about. I’ve been tracking every gallon of fuel purchased for the last several vehicles. Sometimes they are close, sometimes not. No way to tell without math skills. My 21 is the “most” consistent with the vehicle my 2016 Tahoe.

Tracking fuel economy is to complicated, get on a diesel forum and you will quickly find out that forum brand X (the one you are on) gets 40-50 mpg fully loaded going up hill with a 5th wheel the size of which would make Will Smith happy to be in it. While the competitors only get 3 mpg unloaded. That's where the real numbers come into play.

Although on topic, i think i usually see most of the lie-o-meters to be within 10%. Newer rigs tend to be better. With that said though, my 02 Cummins claimed 26 mpg occasionally. And i can tell you this, it was wrong by well over 10% lol

Ended up emailing them they responded within the hour and offered to send me an entire replacement no fee. So their customer service is top notch guess i gotta do this all over again lol found a leaky shock in the back so time to do those as well , any recommendations for some slightly stiffer shocks in the rear ?( non magnaride and no auto level

bilstein 4600 or 5100, they may not necessarily be stiffer but they should last for a very long time they are good shocks
if it has the autoride you going to want a stiffer spring which is likely going to have to be moog or try and find some z71 springs
you will need resistors also to fool the autoride if you are deleting it

wife's rig has developed a cylinder 2 cold start issue, swapped coils no change, plug looked fine and only has about 12k on it but I am going to grab a new one anyway and see if it makes any difference, maf data looks ok and fuel pressure is good, 02 sensors are original with just a hair over 100k on them data looks ok but they will get changed anyway soon
if a new plug doesn't change anything then I guess it needs to go in for a injector test, injector data looks ok that doesn't mean anything though a physical test will make that determination

Lifter dead ?
noo it runs fine, just a cold start misfire mainly, no noise or ticking, no rotational noise or anything, after the first 30 seconds or so (cold start) the misfire count pretty much goes away but still counts random here and there. I am "guessing" lazy injector if not the plug. It has "special coverage" for the injectors for like 15 years or something like that so obviously it's a known issue. I don't know if the coverage requires a specific code or not but there is no injector codes just what I can see with the scanner.

it's been throwing the cold start rough idle code random for around 3 months and I have just been clearing it, but now it is getting worse.

monitoring live data it will give a random 2-4 misfire count on cyl 2, almost always while under a load though and not while parked

**small chance it could be electrical related

so
coil swap-no change
spark plug swap-no change
no knock retard
no knock detected on cyl2
engine is quiet as a mouse, no tick, no knock, no nada nothing (other than the annoying wind in my video)
no injector shutdown
afm is disabled

i'm stumped I am leaning towards a lazy injector mostly when cold or it has sat for a while

Never forget to check for suspect wiring, in case it's NOT the injector itself.
If you switch the suspect injector to a different cylinder, does the fault follow the injector?

the injectors are under the intake on the k2's so it's going to the dealer for a deeper diagnostic since it has special coverage for the injectors. I don't have any way or the tools to load test a injector. I figure it is a 50/50 chance that they determine it is a injector or they find a electrical fault. If it is the injector then there should be no charge.
by the time I pulled the intake off and swapped injectors to turn around and have to take the intake off again that's a lot of my time invested to maybe still find not the issue.
If the dealer determines it is something else I can tackle with just a diagnostic then I am only out $180. I don't think it is anything internal, it's kind weird that it is also being super touchy on the pedal, you barely touch the pedal and it wants to go like it's running 120 octane, no lack of power.

went out this morning while it is "technically" cold again, no misfires, throttle response normal. drove it a mile or so giving it lots of throttle to warm it up, shut it off and restarted a few times, let it sit, restart, drive again. perfectly normal................ wtf misfire count didn't change from yesterday.
