What is the name of this joint and where can I get one?

It looks like the joint where the steering shaft connects to the rack has a torn boot and I can see the joint itself is starting to rust.

Where can I get a replacement?

@Joseph Garcia Im looking to replace the entire joint also, cost almost as an entire steering rack. It looks like there are some cheaper versions for around $90 elsewhere but might as well get the good one

Between R/A huge selection, ez to use online catalog and pricing, I’ve become accustomed to their boring reliability.

The only thing that shakes the boredom away is having to go onto Amazon because parts are needed quicker. Then the wake up happens because Amazon’s loaded with counterfeit crap.

Same wake up happened going into Autozone. Here in SoCal they charge 50-75% more for OEM vs R/A.

Make sure that you post replacement pics with dates because if you get a $90 shaft assembly, you will for sure do the R&R more than once.

I ended up buying replacement boots and the entire Dorman joint.

If my joint is still good I will grease and reboot it.

If my joint is not good I will swap in the new Dorman.
