I’m currently on a 24x10 +25 with 305/35/24 which is 32.4” of tire. I rub like crazy on highway dips.

A 40-series 22” tire is a 30.7” (275) or 31” (285) so I’m picking up a LOT of clearance. Not to mention the width clearance from dropping to a 9” wheel with a higher offset.

How was the ride on a 40-series?

I loved it. Only reason I went with the 305 is I wanted a set of Michelin tires and the 305/40 was exactly half the cost of a 295/40, which makes zero sense to me.

305/40 was $232 a piece.
295/40 was $465 a piece.

Weird right?

305/40 must be a common OE size on something. Who knows what. Maybe an Abrams tank.

Tightened up my SPOHN control arms and panhard bar yesterday........WOW. They were loosey goosey. Truck feels MUCH better now.

My Toyo Proxes ST3 should be here Friday, and will be mounted by the following Tuesday. :party33:

You mean lunar rover tires aren't as en vogue as your parking like a dick?
They're stock size 285/45r22

Regarding the parking: That's my work parking lot. The spaces are so narrow that a full size SUV barely fits in the lines. You can see the equinox next to me into 1/4 of my space. That's how we make it work; it's just known that whomever parts next to the stripes parks half-way in, and then everyone gets a little extra space.

Not even sure what happened, but it happened this morning on the way home from dropping the kid off at school. Heard a clunk, didn't think much of it. Got it home, looked under it, and realized how ******* lucky I am that I got home without catapulting the truck. Of course I threw away my stockers last weekend

Awaiting a response from Spohn to see if we can overnight new bushing sleeves and spacers.

So the bolts came loose or broke?
