What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I just received another request to do a Big 3 upgrade. This makes the third one in less than two months. This time its another Tahoe instead of a Yukon or Burb.


Also…insurance company chose to total the wife’s car. One deer and they are totaling it. Bad thing is a new car loan has more than double the apr compared to when we bought hers. What’s the point of having an 800+ credit score if we have to deal with rates that fluxing high?

Need to order a new RKE Fob. My case is all cracked up. Trying to decide on a new one for $100.00 or a Chinese knockoff for $25.00, or a Used one from Ebay for $25.00 delivered.

I could do the used one and just swap the board over to the case and be done.

That's what I did with one of mine a couple years ago. I think Dorman makes just replacement cases where you swap in your existing board.

What 2nd battery system did you install? I have the Hellroaring Primary/Backup Battery system. Also, why do some hoods have the hood lift strut and springs and some do not? My suburban does not have the hood lift strut.

I don't recall ever seeing a gmt900 without a hood strut

I like the AJT fob but you have to upgrade to the boost auto fob first, then put it in the ajt case

I’ve never thrown a meter on mine to check the resistance. While it “could” be odd that they are all off by a little bit, that figure could also be related to any number of things. Hopefully they work out fine.
That also clears up the debate about whether they are “legit” or chi-knock offs with the packaging being different.
I can’t remember if it was @Tonyrodz or @Just Fishing who ordered a set around the same time I did a couple years back, and we both had different packaging.

I bought some upstream o2s that were made by Denso. I don't have downstream o2s.

Yeah, it comes with multiple backs depending on how/where the battery is located or secured on your existing circuit board

The buttons on the dorman stick out further and don't have the bulge or recess like the OE one, but it's a spare so I don't care.
