I grew up on 88, and always enjoyed the drive before it was straightened in the late 80s. No idea what the traffic like now though.

We'd sometimes stop in Gardnerville for dinner at Sharkey's. My grandpa went to high school with Sharkey. They remained lifelong friends.

My great grandparents spent years as missionaries on the reservation at Schurz. I remember going over there for his 90th birthday.

So I bust my ass installing the pass side lowering spindle ($340.00 set Beltech #2509) and I run into this BS:

I never heard or read ONE post or product review mentioning this. Really P"D me off!!!!! So I said FKT and ground a notch for clearance. Bad enough you got to cut the fkn ball joint studs I felt guilty just doing that. And by doing that you loose the hole for the cotter pin in the top ball joint nut. And the bottom nut they give you is like 1/3 the thickness of the original.

So I got her back together and the fkn ABS/Stabilitrac light comes on. I figured I probably damaged the sensor harness at that bend during this project. I know I plugged it in correctly. Nice and snug. So I picked up a new one today and installed it and she happy now. Used my camber guage and alignment jig I made up to dial in the castor/camber toe the best I could. She feels a LOT better now going down the road compared to the strut under LCA setup. I still have to do the driver's side next weekend.

Remember I posted my D/S CV boot shit it's grease out a few weeks ago so I got to order a new one before I go tearing into the d/s. Can't wait to finish it major PITFA this sht.

Then some cop gave me some shit the other night when I was picking up a pizza about how my truck looked like an under cover PC and made me pull my ditch and push bar lights off and my dash strobe which I showed him only flashed ORANGE on the dash one and the other lights weren't even wired up and were white lights only. Right in front of my friends at the pizza shop, humiliated me. Whatever Fck the world up it's asz fkn ckskrs........

In the process of repairing my leather seat on the driver side. When I bought the Tahoe it had the dreaded “slide off” seat rip so I skeptically grabbed JB weld for leather and am waiting to see how it does. The process isn’t hard, clean the area then use the provided adhesive, let that dry for 24 hours, then finish with the provided paint and texture sticker, then let that set for 24 hours. I’ll keep y’all posted!

I would have told that ****** to go eat a dick. He can’t do any of that. I just despise those certain bastards with their power trips. Feelings police. They give the good ones a bad name. Don’t fall for their crap.

Truck looks great!

I think it is either 28 or 30, not 100% sure but we were leaving the tractor pulls last night and about to get on the freeway and happened to notice a big yellow light lol
I normally stop at about a $100 or less and really never let it get that low but we are driving 8 hours today to go get fireworks so had to fill it up one way or another.
Wait…. California has tractor pulls?! That’s pretty mind blowing!! Haha

took 88 there and back stopped in pine grove at Gianninis for dinner haven't been there in like 20 years, price was decent $106 for a full course meal for 5
had one guy on the way back doing a pretty good pace in a accord (i think) but I am a challenger so he let me pass him and then stayed behind me for a while but couldn't keep up lol funny I'm pushing a 6000+lb tank thru a curvy mountain highway and nobody can keep up?
around 8 hours of highway driving and still sit's on 10.1mpg :driver:
I usually get a little better mileage thru the mountains but passed a bunch of boats near the end that probably wiped out any gains I had
