Those are 20’s if I have the right wheel.. @iamdub did some 6-spoke declads. He’ll be able to tell us if those are the correct wheels or not.

ETA: I know you’re concerned about ride quality with a lower profile tire, but man, those are so nice once cleaned up. I didn’t notice much difference at all going from a 16” to an 18”. Except, of course much better cornering, and less floaty feel.

Yessss... declads look awesome. @Jeff53, the wheels you asked about are supposed to be chrome. I think it's the lighting making them look like matte silver or dull aluminum. Or they painted them. Either way, they're 20" and the chrome is a plastic cladding over a "basic", straight-spoke wheel. There are two (maybe three?) styles of these wheels for the GMCs-

Decladding is labor-intensive. You gotta knock off the chrome cladding. It's like a big hubcap glued on with adhesive foam. Then you gotta chip the remaining foam off the wheel then use a dangerous paint stripping gel to remove the rest of the foam and adhesive. Then do some smoothing around the lip and, if you want center caps, come up with a way to make 'em stay in place.

I'm sure you have no desire to get involved. But, if you're interested or just bored, here's the basics of what I did:

The overall diameter is what matters. The stock size of 275/55-20 has about the same OD as the 17" and 18" wheel and tire combos.

Well, after reading everyone's answers here and checking prices, it appears that there's less than $50 difference going up to 20s. I guess the only concern I might have is ride, going from the 16" sidewall to the 20" sidewall. Will the ride degrade with that much less sidewall? Of course, based upon diameter, it would only be 2 inches difference for the sidewall between the rim and the road. Hmm...

Someone local to me has 4 of these 18s with tires for $500. I haven't gone to look at them yet, but I think they look pretty good on a blue Yukon, plus they look easy to clean. (Apologies to Merc1973 for stealing his picture from the Official oem/replica wheel thread):

Unless you get a really crappy tire, I don't think 20s are low enough profile to really have such a negative effect on ride quality. IMO, they're a good balance for ride comfort and better handling. Vehicle engineers have to account for appearance as well as ride comfort. 20s are practically the standard for most any mid- and upper-trim levels for many brands.

One thing I've found is that pretty much any wheel from the GMT900 and newer always seem to look better on the GMT800.

The only thing to be careful about is 1) being disrespectful/mean or 2) doing anything illegal. You will get lynched. Aside from that, this is THE safest place on the internet to speak up. And I encourage you to keep going as you have. This is/was a really good thread.

We're (mostly) friends and family here. At the least, it's the internet- it's not so serious. Definitely NOT pissed off. Especially not over something as subjective as which generation of vehicle looks better. I wouldn't even go through the trouble to take and upload pics if I were responding out of anger. You bet your ass I'd do it for teh lulz, though. I saw your original post and it reminded me that I had one of those center caps in the garage. Just one, so I didn't bother piping up until that last opportunity. One is as good as none, ya know? BTW, I was careful to not let it get the coffee grounds on it in the trash can and removed it after the pic. It's up for grabs if you want it or if anyone is missing one.

I'm all about documenting and sharing! Yeah, it takes a special kind of donkey to put in that kind of work for some very basic wheels. But, when you like the basic look and want something not so common that you "made yourself", you gotta be that donkey.
