I have a NBS Esky rear window glass with attached 3rd brake light for sale. Asking $150 obo but I'm NOT willing to ship it. If YOU want to pay to get it shipped, that's on you. Most I'm willing to do is drop it off somewhere, but I'm not going to be responsible for packing or crating/boxing this big sumbitch up.

I'm located in Stonewall Louisiana, which just outside of Shreveport, LA. I travel down to New Orleans about once or twice a year, so if you are in the New Orleans area maybe we can work some sort of deal and I can deliver it there or anywhere in between. I'm also 3 hours east of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so I'd be willing to meet you halfway if you are in in the DFW area.

Damn I wish I had seen this a couple days ago….. lol. Although he probably wouldn’t ship it to me …. My esky third tail light keeps breaking….. the plastic mounting parts that have the metal grommets that the screws go into. I decided F it I’m tired of fixing so I started looking for one. Supposedly found a new OEM brake light from GM parts center. Put the order in but damn that cost a pretty penny…. For how much I spent it had better be a brand new esky third brake light when it shows up

2000-2004. The glass has the pull handle attached to it on 2005-2006 instead of built into the frame.
Correct, this came off a 2004 Escalade. I've had it for a few years now actually, but I've just never installed it because I never got around to painting it. Now that I've moved, I really no NO place to store it and my wife if bitching. I know I won't install it any time soon, so it's up for sale. I only paid $150 for it, so I'm just trying to get my money back, or most of it.

Chase, it's not that I don't want to ship it, it's mainly that I just REALLY don't want to be responsible if this glass were to end up breaking/shattering during shipment. We all know how shipping companies treat packages now, unless you pack your items to survive an 8-10 foot fall, it won't survive. And with glass of this size, I have no idea how to safely pack it to ensure that it survives. I thought maybe getting some pool noodles or THICK foam pipe insulation and fitting it around all the edges, then build a wood frame enclosed around it, then build a plywood box around that wood frame. That would probably protect it during actual shipping, but what it they were to drop it? Even just a 3-4 food drop off of another crate or something? Who knows if it would survive that. Then I would feel guilty and responsible and not only be out the $150 for the window and brake light, but whatever all the wood and foam costs, plus the actual shipping costs. Now you see my reservations about shipping this?
That's why I said, if you want to pay a 3rd party company to pack and ship it, and ALL responsibility falls on them, then I would be more than happy to do that. I just really don't want the hassle and responsibility of packing and shipping this MYSELF.

I totally get it! I wouldn’t want to ship it either. That’s a lot of labor to build the plywood like you said. I’ve been in that bait before with large items. It would probably cost at least double what you’re seeing it for to ship.

That's what I am looking for. You can send it with Himars and Abrahms to Ukraine and drop it in Germany.. :favorites37:

I have a Friend which is pilot, i ask him if he probably land in L.A. if you would sell it overseas...

How far are you from L.A. Airport?

Best regards from Germany

I don't know whether this post is serious, or sarcastic. I'm gonna go with sarcastic because it's DEFINITELY not feasible to ship this thing, especially overseas. And I'm VERY far from Los Angeles, well over 2,000 miles. I'm in Louisiana.

First Part was kind of strange German Humor. The war affects us very much in Europe and I am very thankfull that the us government helps the Ukrianians and therefore Germany as well, against the Russian aggression. And I think most of the Germans see that as well ..

Second part was serious and I asked my buddy, but he sadly not fly to L.A. which is, as you say as well far away from Louisiana. And I misunderstood LA, because I thought you mean Los Angeles...

So thank you...
Even if you can't send me the part, what I understand....

Best regards from Germany
