Installed a Blueprint 365 engine with a Holly Sniper EFI approx. 10K miles ago so it should be out of the "learning" mode. About a month ago it started revving infrequently instead of returning to normal idle - normal idle being 750-850 rpm. Come to a stop sign and it could be over-revving to 1000 - 1400 rpm. I've reset the idle and talked to the Holley service rep - not much help as I am not as familiar with EFI as I am with a Carburetor. Anyone have any experience/advice?
Thanks in advance.

Checked for any intake tract or manifold leaks? I'm not the most familiar with the Sniper as far as monitoring and tuning. Do you have access to see what the sensors are reporting and/or what the IAC's status or commanded position? Or the reported-vs.-commanded TPS if no IAC.

Thanks for the reply - I think the problem is solved - I got a suggestion from one of the techs at HOTRODZ (they install several Snipers on street rods) to check the idle air control valve at the back of the throttle body. Removed it and sprayed with Brake-kleen and blew it out - there was some carbon on the tip - and re-installed the IAC. Seems to have solved the problem. The techs at Holley said if it needed to be replaced, they used an IAC valve from Chrysler (1998 - 2003 Dodge Dakota). Thanks again.
