Oh dang those are some rubber band tires! How's the ride quality on those?View attachment 384583 Need to do the leveling kit still - but here is my 23 on 24x10 Lexani’s and 305/35R24 Nitto Recon Grapplers
Did you get spacers for a little poke or did you get aftermarket wheels with a different offset? Great looking truck. Would likes to see more pictures with the wheels straightened.
Thanks, yeah, just going for a little poke. Here are some more pics, the wheels I have are +15mm offset (factory z71 wheels are +24mm), so amount of offset is closer to a 1.5” spacer with a factory offset wheel.Did you get spacers for a little poke or did you get aftermarket wheels with a different offset? As good as the stock tires for ride quality - no difference at neighborhood or highway speeds & great on beach sand too.Oh dang those are some rubber band tires! How's the ride quality on those?
What is under it?!May have been overthinking the brackets. Poked around on Silverado forums and found the same brackets being referred to as “mud flap brackets” and seem to be commonly removed for additional clearance. Plenty of space at full lock now.View attachment 384986View attachment 384987
Nothing but fender and wheel well, seems to be just a place for the liner and/or mud flap (splash guard) to mount to and the piece sticking out, I was going to cut off, must just support the mud flaps if you have them. Or maybe just a carry over from the Silverado as I think they have a different mud flap than the SUV’s do.What is under it?!
Thats crazy. Thats a substantial bracket for nothing. Very odd. No a/c lines or wiring behind it ?Nothing but fender and wheel well, seems to be just a place for the liner and/or mud flap (splash guard) to mount to and the piece sticking out, I was going to cut off, must just support the mud flaps if you have them. What I was thinking initially too, but nothing there on drivers side and passenger side does have ac and wiring behind it but it’s not hanging out there, it’s along the frame.Thats crazy. Thats a substantial bracket for nothing. Very odd. No a/c lines or wiring behind it ?
The way the bracket is made, its almost like it was added for additional support for something. What I was thinking initially too, but nothing there on drivers side and passenger side does have ac and wiring behind it but it’s not hanging out there, it’s along the frame.
So what extra trimming did you have to do???View attachment 386620
Switched from LT KO2’s to Standard Load 275/60R20 Cooper Rugged Treks so I could run at 35 psi. Same size but the Cooper’s measure out taller (had to do some extra trimming). So far I like them, a little hum but nothing crazy, ride a little softer than the LT’s for all the pot holes around here.

Thanks!I have a 2021 Denali and the plan is a Traxda 2" front lift and 1" rear lift combo kit. Once that is in, I was looking at some 20x9 wheels (+12 offset) wrapped with some Toyo AT3 285/60/ 20's.
I thought I would be okay and have been told that should good but, now I'm second guessing myself?!?!?!
Thanks and by the way......The Tahoe looks great!
Sounds great!! and yes I will definitely post up the finished product and findings!!Thanks!
After removing the brackets and pulling the felt back with zip ties I was good with the BFG’s, but with the Cooper’s also had to trim the L-shaped plastic pieces below. Used a dremel and cleaned up with a file. I’m around a -16mm offset with the wheels and spacers, so you may not need as much with the +12mm even with the bigger tires.
Let us know how you make out and share pics, sounds like it’ll look great!

First off....."thanks" but yes I did find that one and read through before ordering everything.Yea i bet he would clear a lot better (maybe fully?) with the positive offset.
