The stock tires and damn near 33’s…seems like it would be fine as long as u dont go crazy wide.Has anyone tried fitting a 35” tire with the 3.5” RC lift kit? I see the website recommended at 33.2x12. I was curious to know what the max size would be without trimming.
Yeah that’s what seemed a bit odd to me. Maybe RC is just giving a very conservative number. The stock tires and damn near 33’s…seems like it would be fine as long as u dont go crazy wide.
Those are the builds I originally saw. I sent them a message yesterday and waiting on a response. The 35x12.5 I would have to imagine a lot of trimming is needed.Check the Louisville Autoplex website. They do 3.5” And 35’s all the time, not sure how much they end up trimming tho, they won’t acknowledge that.
I’m looking at squeezing a 35x11.5 tire under mine. Did you replace the UCA with the 2.5”?Yea, they won’t respond from my experience. They didn’t want to give up their “secrets” and would rather you just by a vehicle from them. I’m running 285/55r22 on a 2.5” level which is basically a 35” tire just narrower at 11.7”. A bit of trimming done but done right isn’t noticeable.
Ya I have a old Tahoe 2001 I've rebuilt engine tranny and transfer case I have pro comp level lift with new torsion bars . But I have 26 " wheels with 35 s mud terrain tires . 2021 Tahoe LT 4WD
1" Motofab "Level"
285/60R20 Toyo AT3's on the stock wheel
No spacers, no rubbing, no trimming
I wanted to go with the 3" Readylift SST kit and a little bigger tire, but the wife needs to still be able to get into parking garages. We really like how it came out.
How about some additional pics??Hey, new member. 2022 Z71 on GM 22s with 33X12.50 toyo M/Ts with motofab 1” level.View attachment 376345
Looks great!
Looks like a cover to protect some ac lines and maybe some wiring? Does it just unbolt?Just went to do a little trimming to get the felt liner pulled back a bit more in the wheel well, anyone else run into this monstrosity or did they start it for the 22's? Could hook a chain to this thing and pull a tank out of a ditch. By BFH wasn't B enough. Took the cutoff wheel to the lower corner but sounds like I'm still rubbing in reverse at full lock so need to take more off.

(4) very large bolts that are visible, going to try to pull off this weekend in order to cut and reinstall. Same piece mirrored on drivers side. Everybody stating trimming a little felt, pulling back and trimming plastic, etc, gotta think this is something newer. It’s pretty thick steel, thinking it holds everything in that corner together.Looks like a cover to protect some ac lines and maybe some wiring? Does it just unbolt?
Sounds like it might dictate how much trimming can actually be done haaaaa(4) very large bolts that are visible, going to try to pull off this weekend in order to cut and reinstall.
