Alright bois rate my rear

I want y’all to remember that I made this using only 4x4 square metal pieces 44” long. I have a ton of them but that’s all I have lol. I know it’s a tad lower on the driver side, not sure if frame rails are twisted, body lift on one side is missing a washer or two, or if something moved a bit during the weld process. I think I can fix it tho with a little bit of massaging of the brackets, I used the factory bumper brackets and modified them to have twice as many mounting points/material. I just haven’t drilled the extra holes and gotten bolts for it yet.

Thank you! It’s tough a hell, we tried massaging the driver side up with the forklift and it just picked the entire truck up. So several of us got in the bed and jumped while it was off the ground and still it didn’t budge.

I think I’m gonna do a minor rear fender trim to match the high clearance bumper better. Something like this.

That was the plan but I ran out of gas at home, so I took it to class which I don’t actually attend regularly Amymore. We had about 4.5 hours to get the rest of the fitment right and weld it up, because I didn’t want to ride around without a bumper and get pulled over for it. Also I was supposed to be able to pull the truck in the shop, but a giant smoker was in the way so It was 100 feet from the door In the dark. Made fitment checks more difficult. Overall it was a fairly rushed project or it would have come out better, but I’m certain I can tweak it to fit better.
