What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I've been away for a while. Busy looking at rural land to buy, and other things. I've been neglecting the Yukon, and noticed the idle has been acting up a bit. Sure enough, got a CEL the other day telling me the MAF performance was poor. All clean. All good. Except, of course, I never get off that easy. I dropped one of the mounting screws, which immediately fell into a wormhole, disappearing from our universe forever. At least I didn't break the connector on this one.

Ordered some LED headlight bulbs from Amazon. Replacing the Phillips higher output bulbs. They seem to last about 2.5 years. Thought I'd give the LED jobs a try

I've been happy with another one of their products. Running Sealight in the DRL on both trucks now after burning through a far more expensive brand on the Tahoe first.

i bought some to try out, if they suck im blaming you ....sick of the morimoto fogs make halogens look like crap, and are also way brighter

Swapped the chmsl. Pete did a cool thing with painting it (see pic), but that little bit of red up there just wasn't right to me. Used the same brand I used on the Hoe, but went with the black housing / smoked lens this time. For Chevy Tahoe/Suburban/GMC...

I have been considering these too. You getting them for the Avalanche or your Tahoe? Not sure they will fit in behind the lights on the NNBS.

Do keep us posted. I'm tired of choosing between longevity, brightness and color temperature. I want all three!

I was thinking the same thing, I just had my front end apart over the holiday and those high beam bulbs are right against the support frame. But the pic on the Amazon page shows same depth as factory bulb, so it should work I guess. Not much air space behind it though.

I've changed the high and low beams without taking the bumper or headlight out so there's some room. It was a bastard if I remember correctly but I've never had the bumper off the avalanche

I forgot to mention this the other day, but when I was pulling the camper home from the long weekend, I turned halfway around in my seat to release the dog from her harness and accidentally yanked the wheel to the right a little. It was enough to cause the trailer to sway and the stability control system kicked in automatically to engage the trailer brakes and get it squared away. I never even touched the brakes - it all happened without me having to do anything but keep the steering wheel straight. That feature only comes with the factory trailer brake controller and it just paid for itself. It was a pretty cool experience. Maybe less so for my wife, but I enjoyed it. :-D

sounds better than me recently hitting a nice curve at 100+ and getting a little squeal out of the rear tires, lol not sure what saved me, the hellwigs I think, didn't feel any braking going on
